Solid is the first state of matter it has a fixed shape and size. Solid molecules are all clumped together. solids don’t fit there container that it is placed into like a liquid. Examples of a solid are a wall, floor, roof, candy, chair and wood just to name some. Some solids are hard like a car or they can be soft like a squish mellow. If solids didn’t exist then you wouldn’t be alive because your body is basically a solid. Solids can come in different shapes like a square, rectangle, triangle and many more.
